The new charity Coastal Family Hub launched this month to support young children's mental health.
Working through all thirteen local primary schools across Whitstable, Herne Bay, Herne and Reculver, the charity provides one to one counselling with qualified child mental health professionals.
The charity is led by trustees Rev Rachel Webbley (chair), Lucy St-John (Head of Herne Infants), Cat Wikholm (child psychologist), Cassie Fisk (treasurer), and Rev Paulette Stubbings.
Rev Rachel says, "We could see the gap in provision for early intervention when children start to struggle and wanted to take practical steps to help. The schools were only too happy to get on board to support our community's children in this way."
