Whitstable welcomes Rev Jack Greenhalf to the town ministry
Whitstable has a new curate on its town ministry team. Rev Jack Greenhalf was ordained Deacon by the Bishop of Dover in Canterbury Cathedral on Saturday 4 July 2021.
Jack and his wife Chrissy and three children received a warm welcome at St Alphege Church the following day, including an informal time of fellowship at the play park on Cornwallis Circle.
Jack trained at Westcott House in Cambridge and is licensed as curate to the whole Whitstable Team, where he will be ministering across the parish and in all of the team churches. He's based primarily in the town centre while being trained by Rev Rachel.
Rev Rachel says, "We are delighted that Jack is already a recognisable presence on the High Street, and we look forward to supporting Jack as he begins his ordained ministry with us."
